Sara M.

Sara is currently a clinical trainee on her way to becoming licensed, working under the supervision of an LPCC. Sara graduated from Concordia College in 2022 with her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2024 with her Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling. While pursuing these degrees, she has spent time working at crisis and IRTS units helping individuals who needed a higher level of care. Sara works with individuals 14 and up, with a focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and life transitions. She is also an informed member of the LGBT+ community and enjoys working with those exploring their sexuality or gender identity. Although Sara uses many different therapeutic approaches with her clients, she most often will use cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and person centered therapy.
