Mackenzie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children and family services. Mackenzie graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She then worked with individuals and families as a county social worker in programs including children’s mental health, child protective services, and foster care licensing. Mackenzie then graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Master’s degree in Social Work in 2017. Mackenzie currently provides individual, marriage and family therapy to children (age 5 and up) and adults in an outpatient setting. She has received specialized training in areas of trauma, attachment, and issues relevant to members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Mackenzie’s primary treatment modalities include CBT, DBT, Motivational interviewing, and EMDR.
