As the Director of Compliance, Emily assists with ensuring Woodland Centers is providing quality care, meeting company Standards of Conduct, and maintaining compliance with the rules and regulations of governing and licensing agencies. She also oversees Health Information Management Services and acts as the Privacy Officer; ensuring Woodland Centers follows state and federal regulations concerning protected health information.
Emily began working at Woodland Centers in 2004. She has experience working in various roles at Woodland Centers, including Health Information clerk and Supervisor of the Health Information Management department prior to transitioning to her current role.Â
Emily received her AAS degree in Health Information Management at Rasmussen College-Mankato and is a Registered Health Information Technician and Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security.Â
