Crisis Stabilization Unit - Youth
Our Crisis Stabilization Unit is for youth ages 9-17 that are experiencing a mental health crisis in their lives. Our unit provides a supportive environment for youth needing a safe place to stabilize during a crisis. This may include managing depression, thoughts of suicide or difficult behaviors.
Youth staying at Crisis Stabilization will meet with a qualified mental health team to complete a crisis assessment. Services offered include skills training in individual and group settings, evaluation, stabilization and referrals. Individuals staying at Crisis Stabilization will meet with a qualified mental health team and complete a crisis assessment. Services offered include skills training in individual and group settings, assessment and stabilization. In our calm, comfortable unit, the average length of stay is 1-10 days.
We are available for walk-in services and admissions 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.Â
