Woodland Centers Urgent offers a place for persons to go who are in a mental health crisis that cannot wait for a regularly scheduled appointment. While at urgent care, the person will meet with a mental health practitioner and a licensed mental health professional. A crisis assessment is completed that includes an assessment of the current symptoms, recommendations and safety planning.
Persons seen in urgent care may also receive follow up services that include continued mental health interventions, referrals, care coordination and connection to services including psychiatry. Urgent care services can be in person or through telehealth.
Children, Adolescents and Adults. No age restriction. Persons can be new to mental health services or have existing services in place with any provider/agency. Family members and support persons are welcome to accompany the client experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal thinking, mania, psychosis or family and relationship problems?
