PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER OR CLINCAL NURSE SPECIALIST: Woodland Centers, a private, not-for-profit mental health services center in west central Minnesota,seeks a part-time or full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist to work with youth and adults in an outpatient setting. Duties and responsibilities: comprehensive psychiatric assessments; medication management services; medication education; coordination of care with primary care providers; and education on community resources. Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychiatric nursing from an accredited college or university as well as an active and unrestricted State of Minnesota License to practice medicine is required. Proficiency in the use of computers and experience using an Electronic Health Record is preferred. MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER:  Woodland Centers is currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Practitioner to provide behavioral/skill-based interventions to children in the New Connections Youth Day Treatment program.  Hours for this position will be Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days, though some flexibility is possible.  In this position, you will facilitate or co-facilitate psycho-educational groups that provide an environment for children to learn and refine skills through repetition and practice.  You will also meet with families and other service providers to ensure coordination of care. 

As a Mental Health Practitioner at Woodland Centers, you will learn about how various mental health diagnoses look like in different age populations, and you will expand your knowledge in interventions.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with elementary age children.  *Specialized training in facilitating groups and providing case management is available on site.

Mobile Crisis Responder:  FT position, Monday through Friday, Daytime Hours (no weekends or holidays required) within the Mobile Crisis Response program at Woodland Centers. This position provides mobile crisis response and short term stabilization/skills services to children and adults experiencing a mental health crisis in the community.  Works closely with community providers, referral sources and other responders while coordinating follow up care and services.  Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Requires Four Year degree in Human Services field or 6000 supervised hours of mental health experience, valid driver's license, documentation of current vehicle insurance, and a clean driving record.  Must be able to pass a background check.
