MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER: FT opening working within Big Stone County ARMHS program providing services to promote recovery by providing rehab services utilizing support, hope, and encouragement to people with psychiatric disabilities. Requires a bachelor’s degree with 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services or a high school diploma with 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services or a graduate student in one of the behavioral sciences or hold a master’s or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences.  Requires good decision making, reading/writing, and communication skills; and the ability to work independently. MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER Chippewa Cty: FT position providing CTSS/home-based services to children and their families to promote family preservation and reduce risk of out-of-home placement in Chippewa County. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who desires flexible hours working with ED/SED/at-risk children and their families. Requires a bachelor’s degree with 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services or a HS diploma and 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services or a graduate student in one of the behavioral sciences or hold a master’s or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences. MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST: Woodland Centers is currently recruiting a full-time licensed or licensed eligible Mental Health Therapist. Supervision for licensure will be provided. This position provides intensive family based clinical services to children and their families to prevent immediate out-of-home placement. This is an exciting project in Kandiyohi County which will require a candidate who has the ability to problem solve, think on their feet, and crisis plan to assist in resolving acute child protection and mental health issues. ON CALL NURSE

On Call NURSE EXTENDER: Hourly position week days on-call for coverage 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. serving as a contact person/liaison for the psychiatric unit in Woodland Centers’ offices in Willmar, Montevideo, Litchfield, Olivia, Benson and Dawson. Duties would include meeting with clients prior to their appointment with their prescriber, communicating with clients, parents, guardians and outside agencies, collaborating with other health providers, obtaining information, phone calls, processing orders, providing refills and other nursing duties.

On Call CRISIS NURSE: On Call in the Detox and Crisis Units at Woodland Centers that is a 24/7 facility. Provide nursing services to adults and youth with chemical health and/or acute emotional issues. Position includes completing health screenings and monitoring, passing medications and processing provider orders.

BOTH positions Must possess computer skills for documentation. Requires valid MN Nursing license. Previous mental health experience preferred. Must have excellent organizational and assessment skills and ability to work independently. Must be able to pass a background check. Must have a current Minnesota Drivers License. MENTAL HEALTH WORKER (FT  3pm to 11:30PM shift including every other weekend)   Assist youth and their families needing crisis mental health services in a short term residential setting.  Provide direct service to clients in an individual and group setting.  Position is also responsible for screening calls placed to the crisis line at Woodland Centers by answering phones, collecting referral information and dispatching crisis responders. Additional duties include data entry and office tasks as assigned.  Must have the ability to speak fluid English, make calm, sound decisions. Excellent customer service and the ability to maintain confidentiality is required. Wages starting at $12.47 plus Shift differential and competitive benefit package for FT. Supervision towards Mental Health Practitioner status provided.  Must be 21 years old or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have the ability to pass a background check.
