Mental Health Practitioner - Crisis

 

MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER: FT position in the Crisis Stabilization Youth and Adult programs, day and evening shifts with every other weekend and some holidays. Position will provide assessment and support to youth and adults who are experiencing a crisis including groups and skills training. Admission Specialist

 

ADMISSIONS SPECIALIST: Full-time position (M – F, 8:15am – 5:15pm) in Woodland Centers’ Willmar Office in the Access unit. Will work with clients and referral sources to gather intake information to assess treatment and service needs, schedule appointments, and complete application process. Applicant must possess superior customer service skills, organizational skills, professional demeanor, ability to multi-task, completion of entering data into a computer system, and the ability to problem solve and work independently. Position requires high school diploma. Prefer at least one year experience working in related medical or mental health field or vocational training in a healthcare related field. Mental Health Practitioner - Youth Day Treatment

 

MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER: Woodland Centers is currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Practitioner to provide behavioral/skill-based interventions to children in the New Connections Youth Day Treatment program. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with elementary age children. Hours for this position will be four 10 hour days Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off, though some flexibility is possible. In this position, you will facilitate or co-facilitate psycho-educational groups that provide an environment for children to learn and refine skills (anger management, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, etc.) through repetition and practice. You will also meet with families and other service providers to ensure coordination of care. As a Mental Health Practitioner at Woodland Centers, you will learn about how various mental health diagnoses look like in different age populations, and you will expand your knowledge in interventions. *Specialized training in facilitating groups and providing case management is available on site.

  • Have at least 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness.
  • Holds a master's or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields.
  • Prefer experience working with children and families
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, documentation of current vehicle insurance, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.
