Adult Assertive Community Treatment

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an intensive array of services for people struggling with serious and chronic disorders. ACT is a team effort geared toward enhancing well-being and reducing repetitive hospitalizations. Services are delivered to people in their homes or elsewhere in the community.

Through learning information about mental illness and its treatment people can become empowered to manage their own goals for recovery and assume responsibility for directing their own treatment. For more information on these programs contact Sheila Loya, Team Leader.

Tri-star Team serves the following counties.

You are not alone! This is one of the most common reasons for not seeking help. Don’t let the fear and stigma of reaching out for help, depression and anxiety, or lack of resources, stop you from getting the needed health services to improve your life and achieve your future goals.
